Denyse Schmidt Tie Up Headband

I couldn't pass up these Denyse Schmidt prints the other day.So cute and retro.
I am working on getting some more pictures of these taken on a model.Hopefully coming soon :)

Meanwhile, as I was making this one, I realized: maybe I should try making one that wasn't reversible?
What do you think? Which would you prefer? Reversible or not?

I bought a narrow/rolled hem presser foot the other day and they are not the easiest things to work with.
I was trying to make a regular, square shaped scarf to fold up like an old fashioned pin up headband, like these, but it turned out so bulky. I'll have to try on a lighter weight fabric. This just ended up like a dinner napkin, which though cute, was not the look I was going for, lol.

Oh my goodness I love your headband! The shape and the fabrics you chose are so good! I love the look of the contrasting fabrics, so a reversible one would always be my choice!

Cute - modern retro style! Happy monday Andrea!

SO adorable! I probably would never actually wear it reversed (I'd just forget to reverse it), but I like the cute print on the back anyway. It would make me happy to see when I took it off and it would be my little fabric secret.

Beautiful fabric choices as always. You have such an eye for colour and pattern. I would definitely say reversible. Happy days Andrea. Melinda x

I love the fabric - it most definitely has that lovely vintage feel to it and how wonderful your headband is.
