New Book

I got a gift card for a 'popular' bookstore for my birthday.
Even though I still have one home from school sick, I thought a few minutes in the bookstore wouldn't hurt since I had to go to the post office and was out anyway ; )
I had just seen this book by Amy Butler on a website, can't remember which-



I forgot about it 'til I got to the store and looked through it, saw that photo at the beginning of the book with the zippers up there, and realized I needed to buy this book. Now : )

Her patterns are some of the first sewing patterns I ever bought.
When I first started making gifts for others-and selling a little to friends and at high school craft shows-I had emailed her asking some kind of advice-and to my surprise, she answered! I was so thrilled. I think I still have that email somewhere.

The book has all kinds of patterns ~after glancing quickly through it while eating lunch, I think it's mostly (all?) patterns for bags and pouches etc. Perfect! I need some new inspiration : )
