Sorry, but I just have to get this off my chest. Because I try & write about positive things, there is a positive moral at the end... :)
Do you suffer from -you work from home therefore you're not really workingitis?
In my rush to make everyone happy and get a million things done at once in a tiny time frame~ I screwed up the ribbon on my newest crochet hook organizer.
Yep. 2 days of work. Gone. Materials. Precious time. Gone.
Well looking at it now...I think I can replace the ribbon tie easy enough.
I had just taken the photos, uploaded them...uh huh. Yeah. 'nuf said
Moral: Don't multi task with fray check in hand.
I'll post more photos when I get the organizer fixed.
Hey ! I fixed it !
I changed the ribbon and all is well in the crochet hook organizer world :)
Here's a sneak peek:
a pretty green velvet ribbon-you can see more here in the shop!
Bummer! I've done stuff like that, too. I made a necklace using the wrong size of pearls last week. Had to re-do the whole thing.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, I do stuff like this ALL time. It just makes me want to cry. I think the final product came out so lovely, though!
ReplyDeleteAndrea first off hats off being able to fix it I have been there I know how hard this is do to! I hear you on the working from home it sounds like "Oh you must have all this free time then" this last couple of weeks I have had so much to do around the house that I haven't even been in my work space:) I so get this post!
ReplyDeleteI know this one so well, believe me! And i admire what you came up with in the end! Happy Friday!
ReplyDeleteI change things up all the time too, this can be both fun and frustrating...all part of the creative process I suppose.
