Goal Achieved !!

Yay!!!
(Insert balloons and fireworks here)
I hit my goal!!!
This morning!!

Thanks to all who have purchased and even just 'liked' my shop- I so appreciate it!! :) To celebrate, I'm going to go ahead and leave the coupon code up til midnight-or, officially, tomorrow morning when I get up ;) Just enter:
100SALESGOAL
during checkout
and you'll receive 20% off.

Almost forgot to mention the giveaway-oops ...So here it is...

Up for grabs~ this Card Wallet:These wallets have been one of my most popular items, and are also the subject of the pattern I'm working on (!!)

This one's made using a mix of Heather Bailey fabric, some soft woven flannel (turned inside out!), one of my favorite 'dot' prints, and a pretty vintage coral colored button over a bit of lace which covers the snap.

So let's see, I've done a few giveaways in the past- & I usually like to make them simple-no running around and all that- just, usually a question...
So this time I'll make it a bit more complicated ; )
*If you leave a comment, maybe telling me what you like best from the shop-or anything you'd like to see me make-it's up to you-it's good for one entry
*another entry if you follow my blog (please leave a separate comment for each entry)
* Do you have any tips for photography? I really need to work on my photos-it's a never ending process. Worth another entry :)

I'll leave it up until next Monday, May 9th.
Good luck!!
P.S-Don't forget to leave me a way to get back to you- your blog, email address, or convo at your etsy shop ;)
Winner will have 2 days to get back to me with their address-before

  1. Such a pretty wallet! Thank you for the opportunity!
It's hard to choose one thing from your shop; they are all so pretty! You made a business card wallet one time with text patterned and aqua floral patterned fabric. It was lined in polka dot patterned fabric. That was one of my favorites!
I like it when you incorporate Japanese fabrics, as well.

  2. I don't take the greatest pictures, but I've read that natural sunlight with the flash turned off is the best way to take a good picture.

  6. As far as pics go, I always take them outside either early morning or late afternoon so there is no direct sun and with no flash and set with macro for close ups...
And then I always edit them through Picasa... it is easy to make your pics look so much better with just a couple of clicks...

  11. As regards photos, take product photos on a white windowsill on an overcast day, with all the lights on. This avoids shadows and glare. You can use IPhoto or similar to crop and adjust colours/exposure, etc, using the edit function to brighten things up. You can always use a craft lamp with a daylight bulb for extra light in winter. Outside in bright sunlight can change colours and give a bleached effect - again an overcast day can avoid this, or you can take pictures under a porch/pergola to avoid direct sunlight. Remember for close ups use the closeup function on the camera - often a little flower. Flash is best turned off as this changes colours.

  13. Oo, how did I miss this before! Just in time I guess! Wow, what a great giveaway, it would be hard to decide, and I would be happy with any one of your creations! Your phone & gadget holder is super cool though, I would probably really use one of those. :-) Thanks for the opportunity!

  15. Photography? Well, I really love to take photos in natural light, and I NEVER use a flash. When I blog about something I've made, I will either take that piece outside in the garden to photograph, or I will wait until the light in my craft room is at that golden hour stage, I love the most. Your Etsy site is filled with such lovely things!
