I am busy uploading and editing photos~those I think will be interesting and (somewhat) relevant here in the blog, I'll add, in trying to keep with a daily theme.
So, today I'm debating showing my "fruits and vegetables" photos, "color inspiration" photos, or possibly "buildings and architectural interest". "Landscape" perhaps?
I do have some creative ideas as well, but a dentist appointment will likely keep me from that today. The idea wheels are turning tho'. There's an "idea sketchbook" in my mind ; )
Let's go for "fruits and vegetables" .
Like the poppy above. These grow all around the Piedmont region of Italy, wild. This is in one of my in~law's gardens...Like the chamomile below.
These grow wild there too. I had forgotten, or maybe didn't know what they were growing up in France, but I remember seeing them grow there. I don't here. Maybe I'm not as observant when I'm "home".
This place to me is like a second or third "home". I have family and in~laws in about 3 different countries, and grew up partly in a 4th. I love coming (or is it going?) and visiting and hate when we have to leave.
My brother in law has a very big garden. He grows his own vegetables and fruits. Above are some blueberries. I didn't think I'd ever seen them on the bush before ~so I took a photo. Not quite ripe yet.
And some strawberries. I guess when we left, there was a hail storm that ruined his tomatoes. The weather was really nice when we were there. In the 60's and 70's. The perfect temperature for me ; ) It reminded me of California, which made it harder for me to come back here~I'm still not used to the heat and humidity in the Midwest (me and the Midwest weather, not such good friends). It stormed so bad yesterday we had to race home to close windows and hide in the basement. Rrg. It's actually started to storm now at 9 in the morning, so I'll make this quick and just go get ready for the dentist appt. (I'm already in the basement, lol)
These flowers were in the same place I had the "perfect cappuccino". Does anyone know what they are? They're so cute and little, I love the stripes. I'd love to know what they are so I could try and plant them here.
Well, I think that about does it for today. I will try and get some more up tomorrow. Maybe "landscape"?
