A Post Full of Cozy Yarn

Pink cotton and soy yarn

When things are slow in the shop, I tend to slow down.So I've spent most of the week knitting.

and apparently taking photos of yarn ;)
I saw a headband/earwarmer on a recent shopping trip, and decided to try and recreate it.

This one's for my daughter, she wore it all day yesterday.
I managed to finish it in one or two sittings~ which is really surprised because I really don't like to rib, or seed stitch :0
I've crocheted some for Christmas gifts, but this is my first knit one...
and this one is going to be for me! The yarn is heathered and in one of my current favorite colors-mustard/goldenrod/yellow.

I don't know how I missed turning this one into a yarn cake!

I recently stumbled onto a blog called muita ihania. So inspiring!! I had to make one of these hats~her color combos are great. There's even a gallery  of pictures of hats made by others.
The pattern is on her blog a few posts back.

I'll be making up a few things for the shop and continuing on my seed stitch earwarmers today : ) and staying warm! How 'bout you?

I love the ear warmer! I have been looking for a pattern to try and crochet one for myself...I don't like to wear hats, so the ear warmers are the way to go for me! Nice job!
