I've been taking a bit of an (obvious) break from blogging and
it shows. I know. However I have not been, not creating things.Just taking more time to work on some things for myself for a change and taking some time to renew some creative inspiration...
I spied this Amy Butler tote awhile back and have been anxiously awaiting it's release.
It's now available via pdf.
I have to admit I struggled a bit with this. I did write them via email and they very quickly got back to me and were extremely helpful.
I wish I had been able to go through the whole pattern with them because there were a few other things that weren't that clear to me as I went along.
some vintage buttons from a friend |
These aren't sewn on yet...
I wanted to use some faux leather/ vinyl I had on hand but decided to splurge and get some faux leather braided strapping at Joann's.The edges are a bit more finished this way.
I will probably use this as a toss and go tote-for a knitting project perhaps?
