Well I've just been creating like crazy this weekend.
Some knitting, a few pouches and some coffee cozies.
I'm gonna keep creating~inspiration permitting ; )
Did you get a chance to see my last post's question? I was wondering what things in the shop you think I should keep making. Or is there something you'd like to see me make?
I've been a little uninspired lately. I've really been in the mood to get out my paints and papers, but I enjoy sewing a lot, as it's a little less messy for me right now.
Do you think I should continue the coffee cozies. Pouches? Any particular sizes or shapes? Sorry for so many questions but I want to focus on things people want to see more of or like best.
As you can see, I like making pouches :
I made this one this afternoon. I designed the pattern for it based on the fabric's print. One of the newest by Amy Butler. The opening is a little narrower than the other pouches I have.
The colors are brighter than I usually do too (and made even brighter by my photo editing :0
I asked my daughter if I should go with the red or the green zipper. She said red. So I went with the green (!) She said she likes things matchy matchy. I said I don't (just kidding, sometimes I do). I respect her opinion. I like matchy matchy but this was just screaming for the green zipper.
I threw on some buttons in coordinating colors too. A mix of old and new. It's a WIP. Let's see if I get it finished tomorrow.
These colors are more true to life
I took these (above) on my new table in the basement studio, and the colors seem pretty close to real. Go figure. I can't apparently ; )I've been trying to take good photos all week and outdoors too. It's been so nice and sunny. They just aren't turning out right though.
Here's another I really like. It's a Japanese fabric, again from this trip.
I'll try and get things listed this week.
O.k, it's almost time for the Oscars so I must run. Talk to you later : )

I love the bird messenger bags and totes, the heart zippered pouches, and oh my goodness that flower headband. If I weren't such a broke grad student I would be telling you this by buying them...
They are definitly my votes!
Oh wow, I love that last one. Purple and green are my favorite colors!
Thanks for letting me know, and for stopping by. I appreciate it...Andrea
:)
I think your coffee pouches are ADORABLE. I've seen a few here and there from other crafters, but to me yours are by far the CUTEST. Keep it up! I love your little pouches...I'd like to see more purses :) For me in particular, I'm more more likely to spend the money for a handmade purse than a little bag to go in the purse. (not that I haven't...but I do love a good purse!) hehehe....
But most of all, you need to just make whatever captures your fancy. Sometimes you need to wander and explore to see what you really want to do.
Love the bright colors! The green really pops and catches my eye!! Isn't it a great feeling to have so much creative energy and inspiration?!
Wow, you've been so creative Andrea! By the way: i love your alice in wonderland collage :)
I love the purse made from the Japanese fabrics it is so nice but all your items are so colourful
I'll let you know that I think your Eiffel Tower Zippered Puch is awesome. Keep making those!
