Random Subjects, Giveaway and Coupon Code

If you're looking for the Sew Mama Sew giveaway, scroll one post down, or click here.
I have done several of their last giveaways and I always enjoy going around and visiting other blogs, it's a great way to find new ones to love :)
Giveaway is on til May 25th -I'll have Coco draw a name for me :)
I'm also offering a 10% discount in my shop with this code:
TAKETEN

Here is a treasury curated by eliwill- I think it's great!

Yesterday was quite the whirlwind. I had a dr. visit-for my tachycardia (the meds I mentioned a few posts back) and in the evening we went to take Coco to trim her nails-or her mani pedi as I call it. I mentioned to my daughter that I hoped Coco was done by the time the rain hit-the sky was turning black!
While we walked around, my husband had been calling, panicky that he and daughter #2 were in the basement as there was a tornado warning and where were we already?! We scrambled to get the girl to finish up with Coco, and raced home.
I will never be used to this weather here in the Midwest. The kids do not enjoy this constant weather warning. My daughter cowers under a blanket with the rumbling thunder and lightning. The worst of it lasted less than 20 minutes. And there never was a tornado (here), that I heard about. I can only imagine the places where tornadoes have hit recently-my thoughts and prayers go out to them. Warnings and hiding in the basement are scary enough.
Anyway I have a post office trip to run-and one who thinks she's staying home from school. We'll see-I just wanna go back in the basement-this time to work on my projects!
Have a warm sunny and hopefully weather warning free day :)

Oh how scary. My Mr. is from the midwest and lived through the warnings in his childhood. The devastation recently has me so sad and my thoughts and prayers go out to all those affected.

And what a sweet giveaway you have going on!
