I always keep little cut off pieces of fabrics around the sewing table to start out my threads on. I change bobbins and threads often, and if you saw my thread collection a few posts back, you can tell I have a lot to choose from.
These were cut off from tabs or handles. I shared a few photos of thread starters about a year ago.Don't ask me why I like to take pictures of them-maybe I just like the randomness of the color collage they create?
